Fishing Trip

We are looking to take a half day fishing trip while down FF week. Not interested in chartering a boat for ourselves but one with several other random people. Interested in the fishing experience, such as bottom fishing, not trolling around with polls in the water pulling behind the boat. Does anyone have any suggestions or share experiences they've had in the past?

We chartered the Southbound last year for a half day trip. We trolled however. Sea's were very rough that day but we still managed to catch tuna and mahi and some other small throw backs. Six of u4s went and I believe it was $125 per person which included tip. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Anytime you wanna bring fresh caught tasty fish over our house we will cook it!
And of course make a party out of it ...

Awesome! We'll keep that in mind Bob. Last year we didn't plan on what to do with what we caught, lol. I checked with the airlines and we were able to buy a small cooler and carry it on with us though.

We’ve been out on the Southbound 3 times. Each experience was great! Caught plenty of fish each trip.

Geez, we might be game for this (there are 4 of us as of Monday evening, although Betty and I will be there for the 1st Saturday). If somebody is game to organize this.......

Yes, Joe is a member. We have heard good things about his charters. We plan to book with him sometime, just not at Fantasy Fest. We never fit everything we have planned into FF week as it is.
