Having sex doggy style is like driving in fog at night. If you're not careful, you'll fuck up someone's rear end
I have come to realize that lifes journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting...HOLY SHIT....WHAT A RIDE !

Re: How it all Began
Unfortunately we didn't discover Fantasy Fest until 2006.....after losing most everything to Hurricane Katrina in 2005 we decided life is short and we needed to start doing more fun things. Randy viewed pics posted from FF and convinced me to attend. His parents loved Key West and remembered being with them on their last visit in 1964. I didn't know back in 2006 that Randy had thoughts of getting me topless at FF.... I SURE FOOLED HIM. Our first party was Party in Plaid and the rest is history. Five days in 2006 to 30 days now.

Re: How it all Began
Just a late addition here due to the large number of questions I get about 2 Krewe events:
Annual Wilma Hurricane (and HulaFest) House Party (at Ann The Travel Slut's and BoyToy's home in Bradenton, Florida)
Just hours before Fantasy Fest 2005 was to begin, Key West was devastated by both winds and flooding waters from Hurricane Wilma (the 4th Category 3+ to strike Florida that year). Highway 1 was closed due to flooding and debris covering the highway and Key West was cut off from the mainland.
Dozens of newly created Krewe de Krazy Life group members were already in Florida and awaiting news as to whether FF 2005 would be able to start. It was during this 1st weekend that many Krewe members were meeting in Ybor City (adjacent to downtown Tampa) at the Green Iguana and Coyote Ugly bars and restaurant at night.
During dinner one night with about 30-40 Krewe present, I stood up and said, "This is crazy. Why not just come to my home for a Krewe party so we can dress in our costumes, drink, swim in our pool and hottub and party the night away?"
Well, the next night about 50 people from around Florida, including many out-of staters, arrived at my home and began was became to be an annual get-together and has evolved over the years to become a 4-day, open doors house party with boat trips to Passage Key (our Naked Island), costume contests, sex-toy demonstrations, hot-tub and pool antics and general all-around Key West-type fun. We have even had Pashur the Bodypainter work his magic on the Krewe at this party. The camraderie that has resulted from this party---almost always held the 3rd weekend of July, and the previews of FF costumes---has produced lifelong friendships and some memorable memories that I can't discuss here because some of what happens at the Wilma-Hulafest party--stays there. LOL
NOTE: An abbreviated FF 2005 was held in December 2005 after Key West recovered.
Annual Krewe de Krazy Life Group Trip to Hedonism resort in Jamaica (since 2006)
The Krewe's first real group trip was in 2006 following Wilma where some Krewe asked me to find a Fantasy Fest-like venue in case FF was cancelled or postponed in the future and/or if a Krewe member missed a previous year FF or was likely to miss a current year FF.
The group trip has been highlighted by so many wickedly-wild crazy "Ann-tics" and Krewe fun times that I could write a book about it (but I don't kiss and tell or tell secrets of what happens at Hedo).
The 12th Annual Krewe trip is this June 16-23, 2018 at Hedonism resort in Negril, Jamaica and is 100% all-inclusive 24/7 (room, food, snacks, premium drinks, beer,tips/gratutities, entertainment, watersports, playroom, nude beach, nude pools, nude hot tubs, etc) and is tropical, beachfront and a paradise for both nudists, lifestylers, in-betweeners, or just those that want an all-inclusive resort with themed costumed nights, contests, etc and no drama, no hassles, no obligations, no responsibilities. Sleep when tired, eat when hungry, drink---whenever you want and all at rates that rival Fantasy Fest week with our group prices.
Anyway, Krewe friendships abound and meetings such as the Wilma or Hedo get-togethers only solidify the Krewe year-round both at Key West and beyond.

Re: How it all Began
Hello everyone.
Just to add in a little bit, yes, it all began as an MSN Fantasy Fest forum and weekly chat. The couple who originally started it was from the Jacksonville, FL area, but ended up not being able to make it. So a few of us stepped in. We decided to meet at Fat Tuesday and I sat at a table with an MSN sign waiting for anyone to come up. It was kinda sparse back in those days. The next year we moved to Capt. Tony's. Many pictures were taken and we even had our own poster with pictures hanging on the wall at Capt. Tony's for many years, though I've noticed it no longer hangs there. The next year was when people decided to start wearing plaid to Capt. Tony's and we had our first walking group in the parade. I remember going to all the meetings prior to the parade and we even had a post-parade party at the upstairs area at Schooner Wharf. I haven't been involved for many years now but still remember several of you. I still go to Key West (twice in the last week alone) and may start coming back to FF again - though not this year due to COVID.

Re: How it all Began
Another memory. We had a topless volleyball tournament on Smathers Beach one year as well. I just remembered that.
